Me and mine (2 of tripurandra)

Who am I?

Body/Mind/Intellect or soul?

From childhood, we have been saying "my body".
Now, what is mine cannot be me.
So the term "my soul" is a contradiction.

In the Gita, sense organs are the horses, mind is the rein, intellect is the charioteer and i am the chariot-rider.

Looks and Kaam.

Trying to discover the inner beauty, so maintaining external appearances seems to be a futile exercise.

The face is a reminder, an alarm as it were, to the goal in life, which is experiencing the oneness in everything.

No longer driven by the urge for people to like me (based on my appearances and otherwise) for when one starts diving into oneself, the boundaries between liked and liker starts vanishing. Who likes whom, and why does it matter.

Kaam, lobha, moh (basically false identification with this body) is the reason why we maintain appearances or try to present ourselves better.

Skin-deep of beauty, inevitably decaying every day to turn into constituent elements (earth mostly) soon and progeny of Manu wasting his/her time to get attached to it. Such a waste of human life.

Let not every bump on the body deceive you.

Few seconds of bodily pleasure is a huge price to pay for eternity of bliss.

Kaam is a big hurdle but persists only till the time we can perceive the Mother Goddess herself in every woman. Yet to reach that stage but determined to do so.

The real eyes see one in everything. Where is the woman and where is the man? And if the differentiation does not exist, how could kaam affect you?

Maturity

Mature is the person who understands that the world does not owe him/her anything, not even happiness/peaceful life.

The Yoga of Playing and Driving

Have we ever noticed why do we enjoy playing, or running or even driving for that matter? It is because we can (have to, actually, for driving) automatically  focus while doing such works and the mind is peaceful only when it has minimum number of thoughts: better if only one, which is concentrating (dhyan) only on the activity at hand, oblivious of constrainsts of time and fatigue; and best, if none (the samadhi or the orgasmic moment). Balancing in Yoga takes up so much of concentration that this state is easily achieved which is why tapasya in ancient times was done in Vrikshasan or Dhruvasana. Pleasure of driving is the pleasure of being one with the machine and control it as per will. What is not apparent is that there is at least one abstraction level still left! To feel one with the human body and able to control it. This is where Yoga comes in. The pleasure (or rather sense of calmness) will increase exponentially.

Spirituality of an Engineer

Never loose hope. If the voltage is positive, depletion has to end and inversion will start.

Prayer everyday is same as buffering in a path. Need to re-energise.

The Rx should fix itself rather than curse the Tx or lament the poor signal.

Cometh the hour....

I believe that higher a man/woman has to rise spiritually , greater are the challenges he/she has to face. And i mean face , not overcome for sometimes things might be out of our control and we might concede (even if  momentarily so) defeat but still it is said in Gita that when all is dark and gloomy , the light of the spirit shines the brightest. When there is nowhere to run, nothing else to do , no shore in sight , Rescue comes from within. The bond of Maya weakens and the clouds of doubts disperse to show the Almighty inside. Here and now , between borrowed time and bonus time , i start my awakening.
